Brooke was introduced to dog handling by her grandmother at the age of ten.
She began by handling her grandmother's three boxers at several match shows then began
handling in the junior classes.

She didn't have her own dog, and desperately wanted a German Shorthaired Pointer.
After researching the breed and different kennels, Brooke's parents found Wanttohunt
Kennels and surprised her and her brother, Noah, on Easter Sunday 2006 with Diego
(Wanttohunts Dream of Brono).

Brooke now handles Diego in the breed ring, as well as in Junior Showmanship, in the Open
Intermediate class. She is also handling Jazz (To The Point N All That Jazz) for Dana &
Mike Long in the breed ring.

Brooke has a full schedule and is also busy participating in basketball, soccer, and softball.
