Hope...
Hope was found wandering the streets, pregnant, near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was taken
to the Horry County Environmental Services Animal Shelter. On Friday, February 10th her time was
up and she could have been put to sleep anytime. Jen Nall, a volunteer at the shelter, took her home
in anticipation of sending her to me as a foster home for Pendragwn Chow Chow Rescue in
Lancaster, PA. Well, Hope had other plans, and five live puppies were born on February 11th, three
girls and two boys. Hope and company remained with Jen for two weeks then headed north. With
the help of Judith Hardin, Michelle King, Catherine Harrold, Crystal Dodd and Kricket McCarthy she
arrived safely in Pennsylvania on February 25, 2006.
